Our promise
How we make money
Every tool on The Daily Kiwi is free, with no sign-up. Running them costs time and money, so here is exactly how we pay for it.
Partner links
Some pages show a "useful next step", such as a way to compare KiwiSaver funds or talk to a mortgage adviser. If you click one of those links and sign up or buy, the company may pay us a commission. It costs you nothing extra. Those links are always marked, and they are the only paid placements on our tool pages.
Advertising
We may show ads in future. If we do, they will be clearly marked as ads and kept apart from our results.
Rules we follow
- Our numbers come from official sources such as Inland Revenue, Employment New Zealand, Tenancy Services and Stats NZ. Nobody can pay to change a result.
- We only link to products that suit what you were just working out. We do not push products you do not need.
- The election guide is non-partisan. It never carries partner links or ads for any party, candidate or campaign.
- We are not financial advisers. Our tools give general information, not personal advice.
- If we get something wrong we correct it openly on our standards and corrections page.
